Giga Files provides free filehosting services with 5GB storage disk space, 5 GB monthly bandwidth, and 20 MB maximum file size. Registration is required to use the free file hosting service, and has instant activation. These filetypes are allowed to be uploaded: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, txt, pdf, zip, rar, avi, mpg, ppt, tar, mov, tif, tiff. Hotlinking images is allowed (direct linking the remotely hosted images). You can upload multiple files at a time, and resize your hosted images online after they are uploaded, and delete or rename them. Your image file folders can be made to be public or private access only. GigaFiles is powered by Uploader v6.1 script by Celeron Dude.

Ok, but not for eBay auctions picture hosting. Many of my customers complained they could not see the pictures, which forces me to cancel my eBay auction. Batch uploading is very nice, and you can always use it to share images with friends, not with a large community of people.

It is really an excellent free images hosting website with excellent service, and fast server speed (both download and upload), and it is reliable. It really helps me a lot in my job. These elements make it one of the best freeimagehosts, if not THE best. You get 5GB of free space and bandwidth, and fast hosting and fast download speeds. DIRECT LINKS are allowed (hot-linking), which is great. It is easy to use for everybody, and is reliable fileserver. If they could raise the file limit more, it would be much helpful. Take my word, try it out!

I only just joined, so I can not yet speak of the free filehosting reliability, but ease of use? Absolutely outstanding. I had registered at another site offered here, and when I tried to upload pics, I just waited and waited, and finally gave up. I was wary when I got on GigaFiles and found almost the exact same interface/design, but after that, all similarities stopped. Uploads were quick, and links lead where they should. Batch uploads were a breeze, and urls (and three other formats) were available at the click of a mouse. Deletes were as simple as two clicks. If their web server is as reliable as their site is to use, I will be one happy camper.

I went there to upload a .swf file (Macromedia Flash file, but .swf files are not allowed anymore.

a) They give what they promise - free hosting files for no cost (they support themselves by ads, but hotlinking is allowed).
b) Registration is just filling out a username and an email address -- zero hassles.
c) Good hosting speed, no downtime. It is good for personal or small business requirements.
d) Hotlinking of images is allowed, so you can really use the service in a variety of ways.

It has a lot of advanced features, is easy to use, and free file hotlinking is allowed. It has very fast upload and download speeds.

Their 1GB monthly bandwidth limit was just raised to 5GB bandwidth per month (with 5gb storage space).
