| Description: |
"Img Freak" lets you upload images to host free up to 10 MB in size, with no limits on bandwidth. Image types allowed include JPG, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, GIF, and PNG file extensions. By browser upload you can load several files at a time (either in form fields, or all at once in a zip file which will be unzipped after uploading), with no signup needed. You can upload forum signatures, family photos to share with friends, images for online auctions, or pictures for just about any website. Directlinking (hotlinking) allowed. After uploading the service gives you the tags in HTML and BBCode formats.

http://www.imgfreak.com/unzip.php -- is a nice idea. too bad it runs about 20KB/s. Too bad files fall into a void without any kind of feedback or error message/explanation.

It's a good host, no doubt; works really well in general. But I thought it was a bit slow when it comes to uploading the images, and that's not because of my connection (DSL). There were times in which I even got an error message when the upload should be finished.

No obvious link to contact admin. Rules say 10M files fine, tried a 3.2M one got:
"Error The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini."
May be a temporary glitch but can't be reported. Not impressed so far. The default value in php.ini is 2 MB; seemingly they haven't changed it.

very good, fast and reliable service. all images upload fine and always serve properly. no red "x"s and no broken links. the online unzip feature works a breeze also. good job to the coders at image freak. *thumbs up*.
