This is a free hosting solution for hosting images free on auctions (eBay, Yahoo, etc.), bulletin boards, photo sharing, and more (hotlinking allowed). Signup is required (instant activation). You can upload 3 files at a time via browser, and there is automatic thumbnail generation, and customizable photo album. Limitations: 100 MB storage web space; 1 GB/month bandwidth limit; Maximum image size is 1 Megabyte; Allowed file extensions: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP.

The site is dead (temporarily?) - shows "Internal Server Error". Worked fine for the last two months. Was worth 10 points, now only 5.

I put many pictures up on their server before they switched to where you have to sign up. I wasn't notified and ALL of my pictures were deleted. I used the site to host my xanga pictures and now I have to find a new place to host and re-upload/re-link everything. I don't know how good their service is right now, but if they could delete all of my pics before, what's stopping them from doing it again?

As far as from a customer point of view, pix8 does not offer image resizing or re-sampling. All images upload are as it is.
