"Rapid Upload" provides free file hosting for files up to 300 MB in size, with no download and bandwidth limits. Uploaded files remain on their dedicated web hosting server until they have been inactive for 30 days. No registration is necessary. When I uploaded my very first file to Rapidupload, it took fine and downloading was fast. Ever since that first file to them I get the same error message that everyone else is complaining about or just a blank page. Nothing worse than uploading a 100+ meg file (which takes my connection around an hour to do) only to find you did it all for nothing. Don't waste your time uploading large files.

I used to upload all my files in this server. But now, I am always receiving error messages and it doesn't give me the link. What's going on with this server? Is there anybody here who could give me an explanation of it? Seems like their server is overloaded or needs some work. It gives this PHP error:
"Warning: mysql_pconnect(): Can't create a new thread (errno 11). If you are not out of available memory, you can consult the manual for a possible OS-dependent bug in /home/rapidup11/public_html/connect/db_con.php on line 6".

I uploaded one 100MB file, after completed upload the page gave me a blank site with no upload links. I then tried a tiny 13KB, and it would never finish uploading.

It stood still...even after 5 hours couldn't upload a 112 MB file. Definetly NOT recommended!

Seems their hard drive is full. After uploading it gives several PHP errors such as:
"Warning: mkdir(files/2006/Jan/28/18): No space left on device in /home2/rapidup12/public_html/upload.php on line 89".
[Their server is working again now.]
