"Village Photos" is a free image host compatible with WebTV, eBay, Yahoo Auctions and Stores, other auction sites, EZBoard, and more. Free users get storage space for 50 images, URL filtering to prevent unauthorized hotlinking/bandwidth theft, access to their Page Designer HTML tools, image rotation/resize/compression, thumbnails, public and/or private online photoalbums (photo galleries) with titles/captions for each image, create and send online greeting cards using your own images, order prints of upload images, and can post the images on other websites. You can FTP upload images or use browser upload. Direct linking images is allowed ("hot linking"). Free signup is required. Several paid upgrade plans are also available for more features. Limitations: Maximum 50 images; GIF or JPG file formats supported; File size limit 250 KB; 1000 MB monthly data transfer (pictures in public photo albums have no bandwidth limits); 90-days inactivity limit.

I am still getting used to using VillagePhotos, but have found it to be pretty user-friendly. I would definitely recommend the service to others, and plan keep using it myself for as long as I am selling my stuff on eBay. Scott has been VERY helpful with my many questions (without making me feel like an airhead)! The only thing I wish I could do is cut and paste my Auction Item Descriptions straight from WordPerfect, which is where I compose ALL of my text. I have a few problems with fractions that appear normally in WordPerfect, but show up as ?'s when I paste them into the VillagePhoto part. Thanks again for all your help.

I recommend Villagephotos. I have been a user for about 1 year now and love it. The free image host is speedy and even if there have been downtime, it is very minimun. The customer service is very helpful and fast to respond to any questions you may have.

Nothing but GREAT things to say. FAST server, FAST VERY HELPFUL customer service. Very reliable, No down times, better upgrades. Also VERY user friendly with tags already set etc. Even though this is 1 of the 2 picture hosts I have tried, I can not ever see changing from Village Photos.

Bandwidth increased to 600MB/month, and now allows FTP uploading images!! I do not know of any other free picture hosts with that feature.
