| Description: |
"Rapid Sharing .com" provides free file hosting of most filetypes (except JPG, GIF, and PHP files) up to 1 GB in size (multiple archives allowed). Can be used for free hosting of audio/music/sound, video, Flash, images, and compressed archive files, incuding these file types: ZIP, RAR, TAR, WAV, MP3, AVI, SWF, MP4, MOV, MID, torrent files, etc. The custom file-uploading script lets you optionally send the download link to several friends at once. The download web page has a few ads, a download counter, and a delay counter (25 seconds) before the link to download your uploaded file is displayed. If the remotely hosted files are not downloaded for 30 days, they expire and are deleted from the server. RapidSharing.com currently redirects to file.sc (See File.sc reviews).

Not useful for images (unless zipped), but I uploaded a WAV sound file and it worked fine. very fast server. You can only upload these file types:
zip,rar,tar,wav,mp3,avi,swf,mp4,mov,mid

Great for hosting large files -- the filesize limit was raised from 10 MB to 20 MB.
