"Village Photos" is a free image host compatible with WebTV, eBay, Yahoo Auctions and Stores, other auction sites, EZBoard, and more. Free users get storage space for 50 images, URL filtering to prevent unauthorized hotlinking/bandwidth theft, access to their Page Designer HTML tools, image rotation/resize/compression, thumbnails, public and/or private online photoalbums (photo galleries) with titles/captions for each image, create and send online greeting cards using your own images, order prints of upload images, and can post the images on other websites. You can FTP upload images or use browser upload. Direct linking images is allowed ("hot linking"). Free signup is required. Several paid upgrade plans are also available for more features. Limitations: Maximum 50 images; GIF or JPG file formats supported; File size limit 250 KB; 1000 MB monthly data transfer (pictures in public photo albums have no bandwidth limits); 90-days inactivity limit.

Outstanding service, having only 1 server outage in the last 6 years, and that was a long time ago. It is always up and running, with great rates and outstanding customer service. I feel like family there. Thank you, VillagePhotos, for making my online auctions a success! TWO THUMBS UP! WAY UP!

Everything is fine, except I had trouble finding out how to move an image to where I wanted it, via HTML copying, etc.

The way you display the photos in thumbnails is sad.  They are all distorted for large pictures, and you can not even tell what they are until opening them. Fix this and you will get better ratings, IMHO.

I have never had a problem with villagephotos.com. The amount of bandwidth they have given me is awesome, and the staff has always been so helpful when I had a question. The server is always fast, and I just highly recommend this site to everyone.

For a free photo hosting and sharing site, VillagePhotos is great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I have not experienced any serious downtime issues or performance issues on uploading or viewing photos. Lately I have seen the comments, news, and some other areas listed as unavailable. I am worried that this might precede inactivation of the site. I hope this does not happen.

I have been using these guys for a couple of years now for posting pictures on ebay auctions, and have found their free photo hosting servers to be very reliable. I never had any problems of any kind, and there is never any downtime. Images are quick to load every time. It uses an easy-to-use interface for uploading images, so easy that my mom and sister can do it. VillagePhotos has earned my trust in image hosting for my home-based business. Thank-you.
