"Image Cave" provides free imagehosting, with image manipulation tools such as image resizing, conversion, rotate, compression, thumbnail and photo album generation. Direct linking and remote loading are allowed, so you can directly link any of your photos, albums, thumbnails, or album lists on any website, such as eBay auction, Live Journal, Blogger.com, or anywhere you need to post pictures. Short URLs (usera.imagecave/you/). Signing up is required, and paid upgrades are available for more storage space and allowed bandwidth. It now features unlimited data transfer (unlimited bandwidth), 10 MB image storage. BMP, JPG, PNG, GIF support. Free accounts are limited to 250 KB GIF or 1 MB JPG image files. JPG images over 250 KB will be compressed, BMP images will be converted to JPG files, and larger images will be rejected.

I think imagecave is much faster and better than photobucket. You have more file space and multiple file uploads, and you also have an html testing, which is not only good for images, but for web designing with html. Imagecave also does not reject file sizes that are quite large (unlike photobucket). It would be nicer though if we could have a private and public choice of image album. Also there are no search options for other images, which is something that is quite ideal to have, maybe in the future.

I totally recommend using Imagecave. It is so easy to use to upload and transfer photos and picture files, my 6 year old grandson can do it! I have been using Imagecave for over 2 years now, and never had any problems, and it is always there when I need to use the site. I can not comment on customer support, simply because I have never had to use them.

I love image cave. I make screenies on neopets, and I could not have done it without imagecave. Photobucket is too confusing, and I love how simple this website is. Never change!

They have emailed me when I have not used the site enough to continue my free service (inactivity warning before account deletion). They give me the option of optimizing my images, so I could live without Photoshop, and have one less step of getting my images online. My photos have always been there online. What else do I need? Thank you!

I would like to have more space for storage, but imagecave.com is by far the best image hosting site I have found on the Internet. It is extremely easy to use, and I love sites that are so friendly with the user. I have used it for a couple of weeks now, and it has been reliable 100% of the time. Images upload very fast. Would I recommend it to others? You bet!

I have had several accounts over the years, and my hotlinking has never been rejected from any forum, and I cannot think of one time this site (unless it was maintainence related) has ever been down! Keep up the good work!
