"Image Cave" provides free imagehosting, with image manipulation tools such as image resizing, conversion, rotate, compression, thumbnail and photo album generation. Direct linking and remote loading are allowed, so you can directly link any of your photos, albums, thumbnails, or album lists on any website, such as eBay auction, Live Journal, Blogger.com, or anywhere you need to post pictures. Short URLs (usera.imagecave/you/). Signing up is required, and paid upgrades are available for more storage space and allowed bandwidth. It now features unlimited data transfer (unlimited bandwidth), 10 MB image storage. BMP, JPG, PNG, GIF support. Free accounts are limited to 250 KB GIF or 1 MB JPG image files. JPG images over 250 KB will be compressed, BMP images will be converted to JPG files, and larger images will be rejected.

it's awesome! the pics come out so much bigger than the last image hosting website i used! and you let people load pics like bmp, jpg, and gif. the other site i used stoped letting people load them. don't change loading rules! you have more choices for people to use, (like the url coding, html, thumbnail etc.). maybe you should put up a search thing so people can search for images on picture albums that people are willing to show.

Almost every picture is "photobandwith". no other site where i have uploaded pictures does it that much. Sorry. but that just seems too weird.

More than reasonable amount of file storage for a free account. I would recommend as it is easy to use and they seem to have few serious technical issues aka fairly reliable. Seems fairly fast - the only issue I have is with photo optimization happening when it is a small file and not selected during upload. Possible that they will have a fix soon - I'm all for the benefit of the doubt, and they did answer my email fairly quickly!

This is an absolutely no hassle image host. It's easy to sign up, and you can host images immediatly. I've been using it for months now and I've never HAD any trouble with it. I'm not sure what the limits for bandwidth or upload amount is but I've never maxed it out and I have over 20 images hosted at this very moment. I definetly recommend this host to absolutely anyone. It's really one of the greatest free hosts I've ever had!

If you're looking for an image host for ebay or personal use, this is great. On the plus side: Easy interface. Minimal ads and NO pop-ups. Nice thumbnail list view.
On the down side: I cannot select multiple images to upload at the same time. The default upload setting is to "optimize" your images by making them smaller. I always have to deselect that to keep my images sizes the same. But for a FREE site, it's great. If I need to upgrade service I would go with imagecave.

The only thing I wanted that it doesn't have is a description of each image - I would like to be able to type a caption for each image, what it is, etc.
