| Description: |
"Image Cave" provides free imagehosting, with image manipulation tools such as image resizing, conversion, rotate, compression, thumbnail and photo album generation. Direct linking and remote loading are allowed, so you can directly link any of your photos, albums, thumbnails, or album lists on any website, such as eBay auction, Live Journal, Blogger.com, or anywhere you need to post pictures. Short URLs (usera.imagecave/you/). Signing up is required, and paid upgrades are available for more storage space and allowed bandwidth. It now features unlimited data transfer (unlimited bandwidth), 10 MB image storage. BMP, JPG, PNG, GIF support. Free accounts are limited to 250 KB GIF or 1 MB JPG image files. JPG images over 250 KB will be compressed, BMP images will be converted to JPG files, and larger images will be rejected.

This is one of the great ones. I have tried others and believe me not good at all. I really like Imagehose and I am spreading the word.

I have never had a problem with imagecave. It has worked flawlessly and is very easy to use. I would definatley (and allready have, and will continue to do so) reccomend imagecave to any one who likes posting pictures. I really like if they have down time they post a note for ya explaining whats going on. I have never tried to use imagecave and it not work for me but im sure no one is perfect. Two big thumbs up for these guys!

I had tried about a half dozen or so different free file hosting/image hosting sites, before I came across and tried ImageCave. Here is a brief list of pros and cons about ImageCave, from my perspective:
PROS:
1. Very easy and quick sign-up process. You don't have to wade through a lot of junk to start using their system. Also, you don't even have to wait for an account activation e-mail to be sent to your e-mail address. A minimum amount of information is required during the sign-up process.
2. It's free!
3. You can upload multiple images at one time, and are not limited to just a single image at a time, when it comes to uploading.
4. ImageCave automatically lists for you, next to each uploaded image, the URL, HTML, EZCode, and Thumbnail codes for your pictures so that you have it handy when you need that info.
5. ImageCave displays your images in such a way that they are easy to keep track of.
6. I like the folder system used on ImageCave. It displays the folders in a tree-system, and is readily and immediately visible.
7. It also provides a link to an automatic photoalbum.
8. ImageCave's system is fast. It doesn't take very long at all, even on a slow dial-up connection (24.6K) for the pages to load. This really beats the slow loading pages at FileFront.com.
9. ImageCave is more reliable than ImageCabin.com, even though I also liked ImageCabin when I first tried it.
10. The layout of ImageCave.com is easy to navigate on. You just don't get lost, when trying to find your image folders.
CONS:
1. Image sizes limits are noticeably lower than many other similar image hosting sites.
SUMMARY:
I rate ImageCave a 10, not because there is no room for improvement, but because they have the best free image hosting service that I have yet encountered on the Internet. If they would increase the file size limit on images, then there would be very little left to complain about. Personally, I think that ImageCave is a real winner, and I recommend it heartily to anyone looking for a good free image host to store your pictures on.

Imagecave is a very good image hosting site. I've reccomended it to everyone I know. So far, in the month that I've used it, I've uploaded MANY pictures (more than I could with www.photobucket.com and I can create many photoalbums. There was only one time that imagecave was down for me but it came right back up. The uploading is a pretty fast process. The only thing I would complain about is that you can only upload 8 photos at a time. I think about 15 would be good!

I really like Image cave and I'd have to give it 8/10 because sometimes imagecave loads slow. and you guys are way better than photobucket.com because you don't resize our images we put!

doesnt shrink large images like photobucket. Server is fast and reliable. i would recommend this image host. i have used it for a few months.

I have tried many different FREE hosting sites, and all of them have had one issue or another. I've had to deal with. Image Cave is wonderful! I've never had any problems with my pictures showing up, never had the site go down unexpectedly, they're just fabulous! Thanks!

You can use up to 10 MB of free storage. I love ImageCave mainly because it is very fast to upload pictures, especially with my old dial-up internet. The only negative aspect of Image Cave is that is doesn't offer THAT much web space compared to Photobucket, which offers 25 MB. I have been using ImageCave for about a year. It's very reliable - I don't think I have ever witnessed downtime.
