"Rapid Sharing .com" provides free file hosting of most filetypes (except JPG, GIF, and PHP files) up to 1 GB in size (multiple archives allowed). Can be used for free hosting of audio/music/sound, video, Flash, images, and compressed archive files, incuding these file types: ZIP, RAR, TAR, WAV, MP3, AVI, SWF, MP4, MOV, MID, torrent files, etc. The custom file-uploading script lets you optionally send the download link to several friends at once. The download web page has a few ads, a download counter, and a delay counter (25 seconds) before the link to download your uploaded file is displayed. If the remotely hosted files are not downloaded for 30 days, they expire and are deleted from the server. RapidSharing.com currently redirects to file.sc (See File.sc reviews).

I think this is good enough free file sharing/hosting service. It has all I need. Upload speed from my computer was good (~100kb/s), but not as good as can be (my internet bandwith limitation is 500kb/s). I am still searching reliable and free FTP (accessible from ftp-client, not web form) for free file sharing services. Webform is good for one big file, but very uncomfortable for uploading many small files.

Yes, I would recommend this free file host server. I have been using it about 2 months, and it has been reliable about 95% of time. It has fairly fast servers.

The speed is quite slow compared to Rapidshare. I am getting 30kb/s, and normally with others upload service such as Rapidshare I am getting 500kb/s.
