"The Image Hosting" is a free image hosting solution that can be used to share pictures with friends, post images on message boards and blogs, and direct link images from your personal website or online auction (hot linking allowed free). It generates thumbnails for photos that are larger than 200x200 pixels in resolution. Registration is required to use the service. Limitations: You may upload as many images as you like, as long as each of them is less than 1024 kb (1 MB) in size; File types allowed: .jpg, .jpeg .gif, .png, .swf (Flash files); You are not allowed to hot link fullsize images on any large-scale, non-forum websites; No images will be deleted for inactivity.

I've been using this site for only a couple of weeks, and this is the second time the server has been down. I use it for my auction pictures, and it's very frustrating when potential buyers can't see the pictures! I hope the site is up and running again soon. I don't want to keep looking for new image hosting sites - I am happy with TheImageHosting otherwise. If only it were more reliable...
[I think they are in the process of moving their dedicated servers to another datacenter.]

I just didnt work when I tried to use it. maybe there is a server issue, but given all the choices, I will go elsewhere. After attempting file upload, it says "We are sorry but we cannot process your request at the moment".

this site is so easy to use and you can even upload pictures to be viewed on your mobile browser which for some reason photobucket no longer supports probably because of its own service but that is lack luster to say the least.

Great for your average pic; I sell clothing on eBay auctions, and those pics go on here. My only thing is that sometimes I have had an image get dropped from here: lost, whatever. Thus, I go to FileHigh for basic, essential pic storage. I love the unlimited storage, used it for about 8-9 months, and for your average needs, I would recommend it to anyone. My positive experiences here outweigh the negatives by a large factor. Multiple (up to 10) image upload upgrade is a -big- improvement. Overall, very fine.

Wow! I can't believe I wasted so much time on Aol's FTP! You can upload multiple pics all at once for auctions whereas on AOL it is 1 at a time. You do not need to write your own URL as you do on AOL. I love the copy button that copies the whole url for all of the pictures you are uploading to your auction listing and then paste the whole thing to your template. This is my first day but anyone looking for a way to get out from feeling like they have to stay on a certain server since they are tied into their ftp spaces should try it.

www.TheImageHosting.com is the quickest and easiest to use and also seems to be the most user-friendly when it comes to posting pics within a forum post. Two thumbs-up to ImageHosting!
