it used to be the best, until the account system is emphasized. I couldn't upload any image in my album at all. Registration is now required.

TheImageHosting is a very fast image hosts and supports many image formats. It's free with unlimited image uploading. As far as I know, it doesn't delete your images even if you've had it for a long time and you haven't used it.

I think this service is great and I have had no problems uploading pictures. However, I cannot work out how to upload pictures into specific folders, or to move already uploaded pictures into folders. It lets me create folders but not let me upload anything into them. When I try to upload into a specific folder, it says "uploading" but nothing happens. Can anyone help?

I feel it has been quite good since I started using it a few months back. However, for the past few days I have not been able to view the images I uploaded onto my website. It has just been a little red box for all the images.

Easily the best host I found. No bandwidth limit, no complicated registration. Very easy to use. I use it all the time to host pictures in forums free.

An update to my previous review. I *did* get the "unable to upload" error message ONCE. I've found that even though the message appeared, the file was still uploaded. If you find that you get this message, you may/should be able to find your image at the following location:
IMAGE: http://images5.theimagehosting.com/FILENAME.EXTENSION
THUMBNAIL: http://images5.theimagehosting.com/FILENAME.th.EXTENSION
(replace FILENAME and EXTENSION with the filename and three or four letter extension of your file)
As for contact addresses, you could try webmaster@theimagehosting.com or use the contact page they have listed as "Report Abuse" on the top menu of every page:
http://www.theimagehosting.com/contactus.php
I've tried both, but have yet to receive a reply.

One final addendum to my last review. Since TheImageHosting doesn't change the names of the files you upload, you *may* find that you've uploaded a file that has the same name as one they already host. If that's the case, they will add a dot and a number to the end of the file name. For example:
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/banner.gif
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/banner.1.gif
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/banner.20.gif
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/banner.50.gif
The thumbnails for the above images would be at:
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/banner.th.gif
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/banner.1.th.gif
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/banner.20.th.gif
http://images5.theimagehosting.com/banner.50.th.gif
I thought it might be useful for others to have this additional information.
