Photo Bucket is a free image hosting company for ebay, online auctions, classifieds, message boards, blogs, live journals, and online photo albums. You can easily upload, categorize, add titles and delete images as needed. Direct linking is allowed, and there are tutorials for directlinking images on eBay auctions, MySpace, and Xanga. You can upload up to 20 pictures at once. Photos larger than 1 MB are automatically scaled down. Their BucketStamp is a dynamic imaging tool for you to share multiple images in a single link combined with some interesting animation, a form of photo gallery for your pictures. Limitations: 1 GB storage space; 25 GB/month bandwidth; 1MB (1024KB) file size limit; Extensions allowed: .jpg, .png, .gif, .bmp, .swf (Flash files); Images must not contain any weird characters (numbers and letters only). The uploader converts bmp and tif to jpg. You can view the most recently uploaded pictures. Users in the UK have the ability to take any of their images or photos and publish to their mobile phone. You can optionally upload images via a regular email address. Also now features free video hosting -- users can upload, share, and publish video clips free up to 3 minutes long and 100 MB filesize (5 minutes in length if you are a premium user). Now serves over 500 million images a day. Photobucket has partnered with FilmLoop to make it easy for users to instantly create their own photo "loops" from existing image albums by simply clicking on the "Loop It!" button/icon in their photoalbum. FilmLoop is a free photo broadcasting ("photocasting") network/application that lets you broadcast photo "loops" to all your friends and family, displaying the photos in a "loop" on your computer.

Cool site, great for many reasons, slide show, can alter photos, and it is a great storgae site. I am disappointed at the limited photo tools they have to offer. maybe that is in the upgraded version, never read about it. All in all I would reccomend this free image hosting website to anyone.

whoever came up with photobucket is a genius! it keeps and organizes all my pictures without taking up memory on my computer. also, it makes for easy sharing of pictures with people anywhere. i already recommended it to others. it's fast and user friendly.

Photobucket has been a great photo hosting site. I've had no bad experiences that I can remember. I've actually been with them for almost 2 years! Over the years they have really done an awesome job with implementing some great new features. The site has always been up when I needed it. I would definitely recommend and have recommended Photobucket.com to all my friends/family.

Your site does not allow parents to remove pics on a 12 year olds account...what is wrong with that...kids do anything now and your site states over the age of 13. I have told you she isn't and you say so get her password. Help me! I need to keep her as safe as possible and your response was not helpful.

I am not aware of any limitations. I suppose "adult" user content would be prohibited, no problem from my point of view. I have already seen some dude posting "adult" mag covers in his album, so this restriction may not even be valid or enforced well.
Positive aspects: no questions asked, immediate processing of user content, no spam, no private info leak to 3rd parties, etc.
Negative aspects: what more could you ask from a free site? I am happy with it the way it is. Mybe the fact that anyone can look into your photo album, but I actually like that aspect of the site :P
Yes, I would definently reccomend this host to anyone interested in an online photo album.
I have been using Photobucket for some months now, and yes it has been reliable all the time. No speed problems, and no additional problems. As a consequence, I have no experience with it's troubleshooting service.
