Photo Bucket is a free image hosting company for ebay, online auctions, classifieds, message boards, blogs, live journals, and online photo albums. You can easily upload, categorize, add titles and delete images as needed. Direct linking is allowed, and there are tutorials for directlinking images on eBay auctions, MySpace, and Xanga. You can upload up to 20 pictures at once. Photos larger than 1 MB are automatically scaled down. Their BucketStamp is a dynamic imaging tool for you to share multiple images in a single link combined with some interesting animation, a form of photo gallery for your pictures. Limitations: 1 GB storage space; 25 GB/month bandwidth; 1MB (1024KB) file size limit; Extensions allowed: .jpg, .png, .gif, .bmp, .swf (Flash files); Images must not contain any weird characters (numbers and letters only). The uploader converts bmp and tif to jpg. You can view the most recently uploaded pictures. Users in the UK have the ability to take any of their images or photos and publish to their mobile phone. You can optionally upload images via a regular email address. Also now features free video hosting -- users can upload, share, and publish video clips free up to 3 minutes long and 100 MB filesize (5 minutes in length if you are a premium user). Now serves over 500 million images a day. Photobucket has partnered with FilmLoop to make it easy for users to instantly create their own photo "loops" from existing image albums by simply clicking on the "Loop It!" button/icon in their photoalbum. FilmLoop is a free photo broadcasting ("photocasting") network/application that lets you broadcast photo "loops" to all your friends and family, displaying the photos in a "loop" on your computer.

Limitations: 25MB diskspace for free accounts. The free hosting has a record-breaking 99% uptime, is extremely fast and reliable, and support is often given within minutes! I have been using Photo Bucket for over a year now, and have upgraded to a premium account for a reasonable price. The features of a premium account are UNLIMITED(!) disc space and bandwidth. Brilliant, I can only recommend this service!

Kind of hard to navigate around - there should be a side bar with quick links or something. The images take for ever to upload (maybe it is just my computer), but other than that the site is Great!

I have been on this site for quite awhile now. I liked it at first. I still do like it to a certain extent. I am quite annoyed on how my images keep getting resized. I am trying to put in screenshots/art/etc. and they keep getting resized to about the size of an eraser. This gets me nowhere because of the fact that other people have to squint to see the picture.

I love photobucket. Probably the only thing I don't like about it is the ads. That's why I gave it 9, not 10. :)

Photobucket is so great! I can store all my photos, and it generates the html code for you to make it super easy to post on websites and message boards. It uploads my photos quickly, and it's hardly ever down. Also, if I need help with something I can always find an answer to my question. I tell all my friends about photobucket, too, and we share albums. I used it most recently to post pictures I took at Prom, and then I sent the URL to all my friends so they could see. Everyone enjoyed the user-friendly layout, and the slideshow feature especially. :)
