Photo Bucket is a free image hosting company for ebay, online auctions, classifieds, message boards, blogs, live journals, and online photo albums. You can easily upload, categorize, add titles and delete images as needed. Direct linking is allowed, and there are tutorials for directlinking images on eBay auctions, MySpace, and Xanga. You can upload up to 20 pictures at once. Photos larger than 1 MB are automatically scaled down. Their BucketStamp is a dynamic imaging tool for you to share multiple images in a single link combined with some interesting animation, a form of photo gallery for your pictures. Limitations: 1 GB storage space; 25 GB/month bandwidth; 1MB (1024KB) file size limit; Extensions allowed: .jpg, .png, .gif, .bmp, .swf (Flash files); Images must not contain any weird characters (numbers and letters only). The uploader converts bmp and tif to jpg. You can view the most recently uploaded pictures. Users in the UK have the ability to take any of their images or photos and publish to their mobile phone. You can optionally upload images via a regular email address. Also now features free video hosting -- users can upload, share, and publish video clips free up to 3 minutes long and 100 MB filesize (5 minutes in length if you are a premium user). Now serves over 500 million images a day. Photobucket has partnered with FilmLoop to make it easy for users to instantly create their own photo "loops" from existing image albums by simply clicking on the "Loop It!" button/icon in their photoalbum. FilmLoop is a free photo broadcasting ("photocasting") network/application that lets you broadcast photo "loops" to all your friends and family, displaying the photos in a "loop" on your computer.

I would definitely have to say that PhotoBucket is one of the best web hosting sites I've ever used. I have recommended PhotoBucket to a lot of people and will continue to do so. Since I started using Photobucket (1/2005) I have not noticed a slow down or downtime. It's really just the best. I host a lot of my pictures on PhotoBucket to a Memorial Website to my son, Jeffrey, who passed away at the age of 14 on 11/7/04. Pictures are really all i have left, and have not been dissappointed AT ALL with PhotoBucket.

Hey, I tried to sign up yesterday at around 7:30 p.m. It said that it would send an activation email in about one hour, but there wasnt by 8:30 p.m. Ive even been checking every once in a while for it to cheak if it was in my mail box, but I dont have an email...Ive been even checking my bulk and i still dont have that activation email. I dont know what to do because I cant sign up again, and it wont let me sign up to the account I made. PLEASE try and contact me so you can send the activation email to Shinmoo03@yahoo.com. It's so simple, even for beginners and has lots of easy extra features that are very useful (ie photo blogger etc).

Photobucket is a great place because it allows anyone to store the pictures that they want! It also has the html system that will allow anyone to copy and paste their picture on to their page!

Never lose your pictures again, post pictures on a message board. Send link to friends and family, not individual pictures through email. Keep in touch with friends and family from a different counrty. And it's free!

Photobucket is an excellent image host. The amount of MB's you're allowed for a free account is awesome. Just enough and reliable. I've only had some occasional downtime but came back up asap.

You're a good web host and all, but you don't have enough web space for non-paying users. Also, it messes up gifs that are over, like, 250k.
