Photo Bucket is a free image hosting company for ebay, online auctions, classifieds, message boards, blogs, live journals, and online photo albums. You can easily upload, categorize, add titles and delete images as needed. Direct linking is allowed, and there are tutorials for directlinking images on eBay auctions, MySpace, and Xanga. You can upload up to 20 pictures at once. Photos larger than 1 MB are automatically scaled down. Their BucketStamp is a dynamic imaging tool for you to share multiple images in a single link combined with some interesting animation, a form of photo gallery for your pictures. Limitations: 1 GB storage space; 25 GB/month bandwidth; 1MB (1024KB) file size limit; Extensions allowed: .jpg, .png, .gif, .bmp, .swf (Flash files); Images must not contain any weird characters (numbers and letters only). The uploader converts bmp and tif to jpg. You can view the most recently uploaded pictures. Users in the UK have the ability to take any of their images or photos and publish to their mobile phone. You can optionally upload images via a regular email address. Also now features free video hosting -- users can upload, share, and publish video clips free up to 3 minutes long and 100 MB filesize (5 minutes in length if you are a premium user). Now serves over 500 million images a day. Photobucket has partnered with FilmLoop to make it easy for users to instantly create their own photo "loops" from existing image albums by simply clicking on the "Loop It!" button/icon in their photoalbum. FilmLoop is a free photo broadcasting ("photocasting") network/application that lets you broadcast photo "loops" to all your friends and family, displaying the photos in a "loop" on your computer.

It has been fine for well over a year, but the last month it has been down more than not. I am looking for a replacement, AND a refund. I paid for enhanced service!

Quick load times, a great amount of free image storage, nice features and customizability, easy to use, nearly constant uptime, and just an all-round brilliant free photo hosting site. I recommend it to anyone and everyone who has ever wished to upload a picture on the Internet or store pictures found on the Internet. I have been using Photobucket for a little over a year now, and have never had so much as a shadow of a minor difficulty with it. If you don't already have an account, get one now!

photobucket is awsome. it is the only image hosting site I ever use. I had no clue where to host things that I needed to upload until about two and a half years ago when one of my friends intoduced me to photobucket. Although sometimes it doesn't quite upload the full image sometimes, but besides that, I would never change hosting sites.

This free hosting site has been totally reliable, never having let me down. The new free video hosting feature is superb. Login time is minimal, and when I post pics from here to the web, I stay logged on while I am away busy, so everything is ready when I come back. I am completely at home here. Thanks. I voted a nine but realise ten is just waiting for me to subscribe.

Photobucket is the best free image host. It just made things even better with funky new features like the stamp and strip. The Bucketstrip is like a flash slideshow. You can upload video clips free too. I have used Photobucket since 2004 and it is the only host I use now. I got tired of all the server downtime other hosts had. Photobucket used to be down for a few minutes once in a while, but now it never happens. Great for my online auctions. I have emailed their support twice and they helped me out SO FAST!
