It can also be used to direct link images from your personal website or eBay auction. No signup required. Powered by highly reliable Linux dedicated server network. Limitations: File size limit 1.5 MB; File types allowed: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, tif, tiff, swf (Flash). Their FAQ states that the freely hosted images will not be deleted from their hosting servers unless the image files violate their Terms of Service (TOS).

Fairly fast, easy to use, and you don't even have to register! (Though I suggest you do because it keeps track of your files that way.) It's EXTREMELY userfriendly, especially after the upgrade. This site is great, i would recommend it to anyone.
I've been using it for 4 months and the only time I had trouble with it was when the site was being upgraded, but that's understandable. Very reliable; I love this site.

I wish I could host bitmap images, but none of the good free web hosting sites do. Plus there is a link to a site that changes other file types into JPEG, which makes it better then the others. It is fast and easy! You find your image and it hosts! I would definately recommend image shack. I uploaded many images and only 1 time it didn't work because my computer was slow, but that is not their fault. Their features are awesome and easy to use.

very easy, you go to the site, @ the startpage you can select your image locally, click on host it, and it's hosted and you get your link + some tips for linking to it (thumbnails etc.)

ImageShack is a very good place to host your pictures. It doesn't resize your pictures, but I wish you could put Bitmap images on there too. The host is fast.
