I would definitely recommend Image Shack. After searching extenionally on the internet, I couldn't find any good image host free. I then found ImageShack and never looked back. This is such an awesome service! A+

Host limit is quite nice 1024kb. Its good the image stays for a year, but unlinmeted would be better. Very fast server, upload/download. Support good, gives all the codes to reach the image, also for forums, its even able to rate a picture. I would recommend this free web hosting for forums or something like it, websites with approx 10 photos, not for a website with many photos.

I have used image shack for about 6 months now, and I use it for ALL my image hosting needs. Whether I want to put up pictures on my website, or pop a thumbnail in a forum, or wherever else I might need to give someone a link to a picture. (It's been a life-saver when I've needed a little computer help, since I can take a screenshot of the problem, host it in a few seconds, and show exactly what's wrong on my computer, then delete it a few seconds later).
Uploading is fast, and they immediatly show your thumbnail and give you easy to copy and paste links for your different purposes. It's so easy to do, and anyone can do it. If you sign up for the free registration, all your images are kept together so you can save them for multiple uses, browse through them or delete them. I like that you don't have to keep them in "photo albums" like some sites, and that when I give the direct link to a friend, they just see my image, no ads or popups.
I'm not sure about any support, but I know that I've never needed any help using the site, it's so simple, and I've never had any problems.
One of my other big reasons to use Image shack is their generous 1024kb file size limit. I can upload an image without any worry about it being too big. Highly recommended!

Images are limited to 1024kb but it suits me just fine. There is a possibility to create galleries from your images, describe option and image rating. If you want to add multiple images you have to be in posession of some kind of credits, which of some you get at the begining and you can buy them later on. But if you have time you can upload tour images one by one - I admit it can become quite a struggle but this way there seem to be no limitations for the number of uploaded images. About your uploads: there is a code for thumbnail, framed image, forum image and direct link made for each picture. The host is relatively fast. I haven't encountered any downtime (and I've been using it for more than a year).

Image shack is by far the best site on the internet for free hosting of images, swf files, etc. I will never go anywhere else.

Its wicked. Its not missing anything except the ability to set a username and password for ease of access. Otherwise i would give a 10.
