Their FAQ states that the freely hosted images will not be deleted from their hosting servers unless the image files violate their Terms of Service (TOS).

i don't get how they make money, or why they offer it for free, but this is easily one of the coolest things on the internet, i hope they stick around forever. this is the easiest hosting site to use in the world. upload and link, that's it.

This is quite simply the best free image uploader I've found. No registration -- just browse for your file, hit upload, and you've got a link you can use. It's very fast, and I've never tried to access my images and found the site down. +++ for image shack!

It's awesome. If u register u can keep track of all the files u upload. U also never have to login. U can upload in a blaze. They offer so many good deals. Such as the one i just named. It's never gone down for me. And their customer service is awesome. They are a highly recommended service.
