It can also be used to direct link images from your personal website or eBay auction. No signup required. Powered by highly reliable Linux dedicated server network. Limitations: File size limit 1.5 MB; File types allowed: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, tif, tiff, swf (Flash). Their FAQ states that the freely hosted images will not be deleted from their hosting servers unless the image files violate their Terms of Service (TOS).

The absolute BEST free image host. I used them since they showed up, and have been spreading the word every way i could. It is the google of free image hosting.

really really good :) 1mb limit, but really useful. Simple upload system, & have used it for almost a year now. Fast servers, and never noticed any downtime.

Since registering with ImageShack, I have used it only a few times. This is great, it's free and I've only had problems because I'm not too familiar with how it works. I've only just figured out how to put the link thing below the pictures I post at different websites I belong to. When I get some extra cash I WILL make a donation to the site, it ROCKS!

image shack is awesome! I've used them for over a year. Never had a problem uploading all the images I want for free! Now you can even get an account (For free) and keep track of what you upload. Imageshack is the best site ever. They are always up, images are always up on message boards. They are the best around.

It would be good to be able to organise 'my images' instead of sorting them by the date uploaded.
