Their FAQ states that the freely hosted images will not be deleted from their hosting servers unless the image files violate their Terms of Service (TOS).

Its great! The site is never down, like some other image hosts I could mention *cough yoxio cough* , You can even make thumbnail images which is great, I was looking for the code for ages, before I found image shack!

Every time I use the service of ImageShack (TM), I have to ask myself: "How they can do that for free?" It's amazing! Search your disk for a picture, host it, save the url and it's done! And the picture will be saved for 365 days! Not just 365. Every time somedy visits the url your picture is saved, it will remain there for another 365 days!! That's what I call "Perfect Service". For free!!

Everything is great-- except there is no way to sort images, make it VERY difficult to locate, must go page by page.
