It can also be used to direct link images from your personal website or eBay auction. No signup required. Powered by highly reliable Linux dedicated server network. Limitations: File size limit 1.5 MB; File types allowed: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, tif, tiff, swf (Flash). Their FAQ states that the freely hosted images will not be deleted from their hosting servers unless the image files violate their Terms of Service (TOS).

Imageshack is easy to use, and it's always up when I need it. It's never been down as far as I remember. Your grandmother can figure out the interface on the first try. It also allows images up to 600k, which is a lot more than most other free image servers that make you sign up and jump through a million hoops to use thier service. I recommend it.

Fast, reliable, and well-supported. File size limits are reasonable, I have had no problems uploading a picture or maintaining that picture's integrity. I have been using Image Shack for approximately two months and has been reliable each time I needed to use it. Very fast, well-supported, all around perfect. Horray for Image Shack!

Fast, reliable, no watermarking And Free. Needs some work on keeping track of your images and naming the images (so they are not overwriten) but overall good service.
