It can also be used to direct link images from your personal website or eBay auction. No signup required. Powered by highly reliable Linux dedicated server network. Limitations: File size limit 1.5 MB; File types allowed: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, tif, tiff, swf (Flash). Their FAQ states that the freely hosted images will not be deleted from their hosting servers unless the image files violate their Terms of Service (TOS).

Nice try, but the free image upload interface is atrocious and the operation is full of errors. You will know what I mean if you try it out. The photoblog option is excrutiating, and the slideshow does not allow you to control the time each photo is displayed or to turn off the stupid ken burns effect. If there are options to do this, they are very hard to find!

It is awsome, but getting slower by the day! but a-star for its quality! the upload file type/size limits have changed. It now allows uploading jpg jpeg png gif bmp tif tiff swf (Flash) files less than 1.5 megabytes in filesize (was previously 1MB) - another excellent improvement.

So far so good. I use the service and much appreciate it. I would give you a 10 rating if you did not have the obtrusive golden frog watermark. IT IS HUGE! There is no escaping the frog logo. Please make it smaller and clear.

ImageShack is truly a great website. I use it all the time whenever I need a picture to be hosted. It's free, runs fast, and is extremely reliable. I rarely, if ever, use any other site for image hosting. But for all you people who rated it 1 and complained about such things as "Your image can be deleted/overwritten/you can lose track of it", stop crying and just upload it again! You're getting FREE image hosting for your images, so stop complaining.

I have always been fond of ImageShack. The adds are a bit distracting though. also not all of your uploaded images are added to your account. And the filesize per image is not very good either.

In the past I used Imageshack for holding images which are accessed at my ebay auctions. Just recently I was not able to link to my imageshack images to my ebay auctions. I wasted many hours attempting to put up my auction using Turbo Lister. Frustrated, I gave it up and decided to find other free images hosting services. It appears Imageshack are now too fancy. I am now using UploadJar which is quite nice but not without some disadvantages, however there are some real nice features.

what a load of rubbish! I've just uploaded a slew of images, and i cant access them. the site is not very user-friendly. avoid this host!
