Their FAQ states that the freely hosted images will not be deleted from their hosting servers unless the image files violate their Terms of Service (TOS).

Nice website! Well laid out. Easy to use. I like the "get links" page. Looked at other sites. No good! Trying it out for free is nice. If you find yourself using Image Shack often, you can donate. But they dont force you. I like that. Great site for free web hosting pics!

I recommend ABSOLUTELY. Its fast, useful and anyone can use it. I'm in Portugal and I use this host so freely and I've hosted all kinds of things by now as if it was a national server. ImageShack rules!
