It can also be used to direct link images from your personal website or eBay auction. No signup required. Powered by highly reliable Linux dedicated server network. Limitations: File size limit 1.5 MB; File types allowed: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, tif, tiff, swf (Flash). Their FAQ states that the freely hosted images will not be deleted from their hosting servers unless the image files violate their Terms of Service (TOS).

One of the best services out there, but has been slow/down sometimes the last time. According to the admin this should be fixed now, than i'd give it a 8. We will see. I like the Photobucket interface even more, but they have been slow, too.

I've used these guys before...and love them still!! I had been looking everywhere, for them, and WOO HOO!! I found them and am now, VERY happy! The front page has an upload feature right then and there, with no sign-up of any kind...and it's FREE!! Slow? No...it didn't even take me 3 minutes to uplaod, get the hosting adress and Viola! FINISHED! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone who is seeking a good hosting site!

Awesome image hosting solution! Forget Geocities, Tripod, Angelfire and other free web hosting sites that automatically block direct image links. This is an excellent alternative to pay multiple image hosting for auctions such as eBay. ImageShack can be used on a variety of personal pages on the Net such as Xanga, DeviantArt and forum message boards.
