It can also be used to direct link images from your personal website or eBay auction. No signup required. Powered by highly reliable Linux dedicated server network. Limitations: File size limit 1.5 MB; File types allowed: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, tif, tiff, swf (Flash). Their FAQ states that the freely hosted images will not be deleted from their hosting servers unless the image files violate their Terms of Service (TOS).

I would recomend this free host and already have. I have been using Imageshack for 6 months. It has always been reliable. IT is always fast.

I've been using ImaheShack for over six months now. I transitioned form using other free service and I can assure you that you will not be disapointed. Image Shack hosts my images for my eBay auctions and it is 99% reliable. There were instances when I could not revive my images after a few months of publishing them, but this happens rarely. I can fairly say that ImageShack is the best free image hosting provider I've used so far. Keep up the great service!

An amazingly reliable host. I have NEVER had and downtim with them, although they do tend to delete images with big dimensions. i dont really mind cos I dont upload huge images. Really good host. I have watched them develope from a basic image host to the now very featureful imageshack, great work!

While the image hosting service is all good - they are bloody hijackers. I'd posted in my forum using the thumbnail forum posting codes they'd provided me with - the links were active for only one night. As soon as my picture links started getting a lot of impressions they hijacked the links and made them point to their main home page instead! that's what they actually want - to steal your impressions and make money.

This website I'd say is the best free image hosting site I have ever seen, but my rating is still only 8 because of the sign in option, where I must check my email in order to sign in. That is one of the two parts I don't like. The second would have to be the limit of size of the files being hosted. I do not think that roughly one megabyte is big enough for my needs. I do animations and movies in Macromedia Flash MX and I sometimes need up to 3 megabytes per animation.
